I moved to Western North Carolina after living approximately 35 years in Miami, St.Augustine, and Orlando, Florida. I retired from the U.S. Government in 1998 after spending 15 years as a Special Agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and 13 years as a Special Agent with the U.S. Customs Service. In 1998 following my retirement I became employed by Akal Security Company as a Federal Court Security Officer working in the Federal Court Houses in Jacksonville, Florida and Orlando, Florida.
